Went out to some state land tonight to try and call in a coyote before our weather warms up tomorrow. I thought this spot would definitely produced a dog but nada. I guess that’s why they call it hunting. Beautiful evening though which was amazing. Opie

Winter Predator Hunting
Well us Team FLG boys have been having a blast this winter chasing predators throughout Michigan. Tex piled up this nice coyote that came in with another yote the other day. Always nice to get some fur on the ground. Check out the video below as Tex recaps the story.
It’s An Addiction Not A Problem
Man do I love predator hunting. There’s nothing like being out on a winter morning as the sun comes up over the horizon. Sure does beat sleeping in. Tex snapped this picture this morning as we crossed the ice heading back from a set. It’s a great day to be alive! Opie
The Predator Sickness is Getting Worse
I had to stop by the store today to pick up some new predator reading material. It is definitely safe to say that I have the “sickness” bad and it is becoming a real serious problem. Opie

There are a lot of great words that could describe the FLG Predator Team right now but exhausted, disappointed and dejected kind of sum it up. We have been hunting for 24 hours straight now (minus a little drive time) and have yet to see a dog in the woods. We hit it HARD today…
Ready to Let the Fur Fly
Well here we go. It’s the 2012 predator challenge here in southwest Michigan and Team FLG is ready to rock and roll! We are all checked in and are now just waiting for the quick talk from the local conservation officer about keepin it legal. Stay tuned….it should be a good time. Opie
